Happy Anniversary!!

Monday is mine and Bob's 2nd wedding anniversary!! It has been a great 2 years and we are so happy with what our life has become so far! We had a rough first year with me student teaching, his new jobs, and me trying to pass those stinking teacher tests so I could get a job!! If I didn't have Bob in my life at that time I would have lost it and would have given up! He was my rock during that time and a huge support!! Plus he was working 2 jobs he didn't even like just to help us get through till I got my new job!! I love him sooooo much and couldn't be more lucky! If you know Bob you know what a great and loving guy he is!! I could write page after page about him, but if you know him you already know the great things I would write!! I love you Bob and I am so proud to be called your wife!! Happy Anniversary!!

Calling all teachers!!

If you are a teacher, preferably the younger grades, PLEASE tell me that you are going crazy and what to pull your hair out and quit!! I hope it's not just me!! I LOVE my kids, but I am losing my mind!!!

Black Friday = New washer and dryer!!

Ok, this isn't the exact set, but this is the best picture I could find for now!! So I saw an add in the paper on Thanksgiving day for a set of front loading washer and dryers at FRYS for $699!! So I wake up and get there at 5:10...and you guessed they were out, they forgot to put in the paper that they only had 5 of them!! Anyways, so I was like I am already here I might as well buy some!! So I bought a nice set of GE washer and dryer!! I love them, and they delivered them today so it was really quick!! Except, when they told me I had to check out at the front I was like "OK." But I didn't realize how long the line was....4 hours later I made it to the front!! REMEMBER I got there at 5:10!! OH well...I love them, but the whole point is....I went on Black Friday, I went to get a deal....and I ended up going $400 dollars over budget!! OOPPPSSS!!
And on a sad note...ACU lost in a crazy last minute triple over time game!! They lost 76-73!! Tough game but what a great year!!!

GO WILDCATS!!!

Yea Wildcats!! They won their first playoff game and will be playing in Nebraska on Thanksgiving day!! Now usually I could care less, but since dad is a coach and Griffin is the events coordinator...I thought I should give a wildcat shout out!! They kicked some butt on Saturday and should win this week!! Hope all of you have a great Thanksgiving, obviously I am not going to be with my dad cause he will be with the team, but I will be in Stephenville checking in on the score on the Internet. GO CATS!!

Baby Shower

Last week were able to have a really cute baby shower for my great friend and co-teacher at school!! We had so much fun, lot's of gifts, and a really good and cute cake!!! The punch was really good too!! It was blue cool-aid with sprite and then you add scoops of vanilla ice cream and that made it turn baby blue!! Jodie loves pirates, so I found these really cute rubber duckies that look like pirates!! And then we all wrote a cute little message to Jayden in one of my favorite books, "Guess how much I love you." We had a great time and can't wait for Jayden to get her in 2 weeks...Jodie is the one in the front with all black on who doesn't even look prego!! What a cute Kinder team!!!

Of course these pics are out of order, what's new!! We had sooo much fun and the fair. It was mine and Bob's first time to go to the fair!! We ate a lot of food and walked, walked, and walked!! I shared ONE corn dog with Bob right when we got there, and those of you who know me knows what happened next?? It was horrible, bathroom, to bathroom!! I paid one dollar to go into the Baseball museum just to use a good clean bathroom!! I know I'm weird!! Other than that drama we had a lot of fun!!

Old McDonald!!!

Yesterday our Kindergarten went to Green Meadows Farm!! This was our first kinder field trip since the school opened 5 years ago!! We were super excited and had soooo much fun!! We were so tired when we got back to school...8 of my kids fell asleep on the bus on the way home....watching them try to sleep on a bus was the best part of the whole trip!! If you have never been to green meadows farm I highly suggest it!! There were so many things to do there, we had good weather and I had great moms their to help with my class!! POOP not POOPED!!

I am going to save you the trouble and not post a picture!! This is one of my random blogs...Ok, so I teach kinder as you know...so maybe this is normal, but last time I checked it's not! I have delt with more poop in these past 4 weeks than you will ever know!! I am so over it and don't know what to do...I have rubber gloves on me all the time now! Is anyone else having this problem at school?? Leave it to me to blog about poo!!

Really?

Ok, so school has been in for 9 days, but I guess this is what I get for teaching kinder...I had to leave school today cause I had a temperature of 101...and then went to the Dr. to find out I have strep throat!! Are you kidding me?? It sucks and now I can't go to my friends wedding this weekend...my sister is also at home really sick too with a Kidney Infection!! Really?? So all you that have great weekend plans, think about Leigh Ann and I as we are cooped up in the house!! Oh, I also had to get 2 shots and Leigh got one...I forgot how much I don't like them...that's why I have the picture I do!!

Ok, I know these aren't my pics, but I forgot my camera so nice Rosalyn said I could copy some so I could put them on my blog so I could show off all my cute friends to my family! I can't even begin to describe how much fun we had...I have some really great friends...I really think all we did this weekend was laugh and play with the cutest babies ever!! I hope you all can see how much fun we had just by looking at all the great pics! I am sure there are alot more pics to come cause we took alot of pics!! But Kenli won't post them till next years reunion!! haha...I love all of you girls and I am so blessed to have you guys in my life!!

I love my friends!!

I love gettting together with old friends...We had a blast this night at Andrew and Julia's shower!! Now they are married!! Yeah for them! Once again I thank God for great friends!!

Another Great wedding weekend!!

One of Bob and I best friend got married this past weekend in Abilene...It was a lot of fun and we got to see a lot of friends we haven't seen in a while, got to love that!! Brian and Sarah are a very sweet couple and we are very happy for them! And the little girl in the picture doesn't like very many people, but for some reason she loved La La...we had so much dancing and eating and laughing!!

Ok, where do I start...I know I have alot of teacher friends, so hopefully you can relate to what I went through today!! Now don't get me wrong...I have a great class this year, its just the first day of kindergarten!! I don't know how many of you teach kinder but...holy cow, today was out of control...Its been a while since I have been around 21 5 year olds! Now if you are a teacher please let me know if you had the same kind of day I did, I am absolutely exhausted!! The picture above is of our kinder team, aren't we cute? We did not plan at all to wear black and white, just worked out that way, crazy huh?? But my day got much better when I came home at 6:30...I walked into a spotless house, vacuumed and all, bed made, dishes, and fluffing and to roses!! Bob cleaned all day and gave me flowers!! How lucky am I? He is amazing!! And he had already left for work...so I will have to give him a big kiss when he gets home!! Hope all you teachers out there survived!!! Have a great year!!

Good Times!

I love getting together for birthdays!! I love buying gifts, dining, chatting, and laughing!! Today was Belinda's 24th birthday and we had sooo much fun!! We went to Brios for dinner, which I'm sure all of you have heard of. If you haven't you need to go...it was wonderful! We went to the one at South Lake Town Square, and ate soooo much food and dessert!! Lot's of family and friends were there and we laughed the whole time!! Mainly cause we were giving Ernie such a hard time the whole night!! I love my friends, Happy Birthday BEElinda!!!!

The Hills are Alive!!!

I'm sorry I can't help it! I love the Hills!! I can't wait till tonight when the beautiful yet dramatic ladies from the Hills return!! I really don't like Heidi and Spencer, but tonight they show how he proposes to her and all that jazz, and I cant wait! I know I am a loser from writing this, but those of you who do watch the Hills can agree with me that tonight's premiere is going to be great!! I can already tell that my sister is going to make fun of me for this one...oh wait, she is having a "Hills" party!!! Maybe I'll go, but I don't want any distractions...Lauren, Heidi, Audrina, and Whitney I'll see you tonight!!! Starts at 9:00 on MTV and it's a full hour!! YEAH!!!

New Year, New kiddos, Can't Wait!!!

So I went to my classroom yesterday just wanting to get a few things done....Well, 7 hours later, I'M DONE!! Yeah!! I'm so glad to have that out of the way!! I can't wait for this year...no test, no ESL study courses, and more money!! Last year was really hard for Bob and I...I wanted to sooo bad love and be there for my kids and Bob 100%, but all the stress of those tests kept me from that! Now its a new year and I can't wait to be a better teacher and wife....Those are the 2 most important things in my life right now....and without all the prayers we got, we wouldn't be here right now!! God's work is soooo amazing!! This is a picture from "Snow Day" last year at school, can't wait to see those crazy kiddos too!!!

FIT for a new car!!

YEAH!!! Bob and I finally got a BRAND new car....We went looking for a used honda, and fell in love with the new Honda Fit!! A used honda with 45,000 miles on it was more than this new one with only 40 miles on it!! It is soooo cute and cool!! We absolutely love it!! This is our first major purchase, so now we feel like grown ups!! Alot of my friends are having babies right now, so let me introduce you to mine and Bob's newest addition to the family!! We haven't named her/him yet! Any suggestions please let us know!!

Ok, so my dad had the idea to go float the river this weekend in New Braunsfels!! My sister and her husband couldn't go and Bob couldn't go due to work. So Griff and I had to invite friends to go. Well Griff couldn't find anyone and I took my best friend Johanna Powell...We left Friday from Granbury where Johanna lives and Dad and Griff and 2 other guys met us there from Abilene! We stayed at the Gruene Homestead Inn! It was soooo much fun and really pretty! Our little house or as they call it Silo #2, was so neat! It was just liked it looked! There was an upstairs and that's where Johanna and I slept, and dad slept on the couch bed and Griffin slept on the floor!

So Friday when we got there we immediately went to the Gristmill restaurant for dinner, and then we went to listen to a couple of bands at the Gruene Hall next door! It was sooo much fun...Roger Staulbeck (sp.) was there too we got to meet him!!

Then on Saturday we ventured over to the Comal River because the Guadalupe was going way too fast! We had alot of fun, until my dad and I wiped out!! We didn't know that there was a part of the river to the left that would shoot you down, but dad and I didn't see that so we went down a 4 foot drop in our tubes. OK, I know that doesn't sound bad until it happens to you...he went first cause I was tied to him then I went...I had every ones shirts and I.D.s and shoes, ( I don't know how I ended up with it all but oh well) and when we went over I lost it all! I thought I died! Luckily after everyone was done laughing, they started catching all the things I dropped and that were drifting off! Luckily we found it all down the river!!

Basically we had a great time and had great sun!! (We all got sun burnt!) I highly recommend everyone to check out the Gruene Homestead Inn!!

We had soooo much fun, despite the heat!! Hopefully next time I won't lose so much money! I went wanting to win a bunch of money and see famous people, and what did I get?? NEITHER:(
